Protein Energy Balls

Quick and yummy snack to grab, and they also promote milk supply- win win!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup natural drippy peanut butter (or almond butter)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup protein powder of choice (I used cookies & cream)

  • 1/3 cup flaxseed meal

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 Tablespoon Brewer’s yeast (Optional- this promotes milk supply)

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine peanut butter, honey, vanilla, protein powder, flaxseed meal, oats, cinnamon, and chia seeds. Pulse until well combined.

  2. Scoop and roll the mixture into balls.

  3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
